The next time some asshat tries to mess with me about the evils of Kindles, I will remind them they should only listen to live chamber music or chorus.
Or maybe they should stop using their cell phones to make phones calls and should only contact their boyfriends via carrier pigeon or tin can,…
It’s also about the democratization of literature and writing. If your book’s good, you can make it an e-book and sell it. It’s not vanity publishing anymore, because it’s way cheap. You won’t, pretty soon, have to please the 24 year old trust-fund babies who guard the gates of literature. Granted, there will be tremendous rivers of crap to boat through, but there already is.
